Membership Levels

Board Level Member – U.S. $25,000 Annual Fee

The Board level membership will be for a term of three years.

  • Ability to nominate and vote on new Board Members
  • Submission of proposals and/or vote on OpenCAPI governing related matters including new and/or changing bylaws, IPR policy, membership requirements, etc.
  • Nominate, and/or run for election as an officer of OpenCAPI
  • Priority access to any technical assistance and/or certification services
  • Receive the Consortium’s specifications and other related necessary information and materials
  • FPGA development enablement and license to use for product development
  • Prominent listing of company link and logo in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials
  • Participation and vote within work groups
  • Appoint one (1) representative on the TSC only if such Board member is otherwise un-represented on the TSC.

Contributor Level Member – U.S. $15,000 Annual Fee

  • Proposal submissions on OpenCAPI governing related matters including new and/or changing bylaws, IPR policy, membership requirements, etc.
  • Proposal submission on new draft specifications.
  • Access to any technical assistance and/or certification services.
  • Receive the Consortium’s specifications and other related necessary information and materials
  • FPGA development enablement and license to use for product development
  • Participation and voting within work groups.
  • Appoint one (1) representative on the TSC only if such Contributor Member is otherwise un-represented on the TSC and is a Work group Lead.
  • Listing of company link and logo in members area of the OpenCAPI Website.

Observer Level Member – U.S. $5,000 Annual Fee

  • Receive the Consortium’s final specifications and other related necessary information and materials.
  • FPGA development enablement and license to use for product development.
  • Listing of company link and logo in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials.

Associate/Academic Level Member – U.S. $0 Annual Fee

This membership level is available to not-for-profit organizations, and includes the following benefits:

  • Receive the corporation’s specifications and the related necessary information and materials.  This does not include FPGA development enablement and license to use for product development.  If desired, a license fee will apply.
  • Participate and vote within work groups.
  • Listing in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials.
  • Participate in development activities of OpenCAPI as determined by the Technical Steering Committee.
  • Member name displayed in members area of the OpenCAPI Website.
