Membership Levels

Strategic Level Member – U.S. $25,000 Annual Fee

Member benefits include ability to:

  • Nominate and appoint a Board Member.
  • Vote on any Board Member nominated by the Contributor Members.
  • Submit proposals and/or vote on OpenCAPI governing related matters including new and/or changing bylaws, IPR policy, membership requirements, etc.
  • Submit proposals and/or review and comment on new draft Standards, and vote on Standards.
  • Nominate, and/or run for election as an officer of OpenCAPI.
  • Highest priority access to any technical assistance and/or certification services.
  • Receive all Consortium’s Standards, license to use enablement materials for product development, and other related necessary information and materials, including FPGA.
  • Prominent listing of company link and logo in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials.
  • Participate and vote within work groups.
  • Appoint one (1) representative on the TSC only if such Board member is otherwise un-represented on the TSC.

Contributor Level Member – U.S. $15,000 Annual Fee

Member benefits include ability to:

  • Nominate a person to serve as a Director when all Board seats are not taken.
  • Submit proposal submissions on OpenCAPI governing related matters including new and/or changing bylaws, IPR policy, membership requirements, etc.
  • Submit proposal submissions on new draft specifications.
  • Access to any technical assistance and/or certification services.
  • Receive all Consortium Standards, licenses to use enablement materials for product development, and other related necessary information and materials, including FPGA.
  • Participation and voting within work groups.
  • Appoint one (1) representative on the TSC only if such Contributor Member is otherwise un-represented on the TSC and is a Work Group Lead.
  • Listing of company link and logo in members area of the OpenCAPI Website.

Observer Level Member – U.S. $5,000 Annual Fee Member

Member benefits include ability to:

  • Receive the Consortium’s final Standards and other related information and materials.
  • FPGA development enablement and license to use for product development.
  • Listing of company link and logo in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials.

Academic/Non-profit Level Member – U.S. $0 Annual Fee

This membership level is available to not-for-profit organizations, and includes the following benefits:

  • Receive the Consortium’s final Standards and related information and materials.  This includes FPGA development enablement for non-commercial purposes, but does not include enablement materials or licenses to any other Consortium deliverables for commercial purposes.
  • Participate and vote within Work Groups.
  • Listing in all appropriate OpenCAPI marketing materials.
  • Participate in such development activities of OpenCAPI as may be determined by the Technical Steering Committee.
